New Anthem ipa’s and lagers at Dominion. I’ve been enjoying their beers

Which ones are you liking? I've had a couple of their IPAs and personally wasn't impressed.

Really? I’ve found most all of the beers to be very good. I’ve really enjoyed free the soul. The vapors and ba’al. I bought but haven’t tried this latest batch yet. I’ll report back

Please do - I picked them up in NC over the summer (not at the brewery). I don't recall can dates or even if they had dates. Looking the two I had up on untapped were free the soul and new jack. When I say I wasn't impressed, I mean they were ok, not bad but nothing notable. If you think these others are bangers, I will give them a go.

NA has been something I’ve enjoyed as of late. I’ve had 5 of their IPAs (Neon God, The Vapors, Free the Soul, Ba’al, and Hooked up in Stitches). Hooked up in Stiches really stood out to me. I really like them and they aren’t overly priced. I was in NC last week and was able to enjoy some super fresh cans. Solid pick for a local brewery to me.

Ghost in the Laboratory at Dominion and Norm's. May be elsewhere too.

It is also at Dominion. Dominion also has M-43, B-43 and Boss Tweed.

Downtown Crown has a ton of Other Half and Burial beers.

    It’s a shame, since I’m going on a business trip tomorrow. :slight_frown: :slight_frown: :slight_frown:

Not seeing any date stamps on my Ghost in the Laboratory cans. Is there any earthy way to tell if these are from Equilibrium's 1/19 release or their follow-on 1/28 release? I'm guessing the answer is "no" but would appreciate if anyone has insight they could share.

Picked up the M-43 and Ghost yesterday - didn't see the Boss Tweed but didn't ask.

Following up on New Anthem. I’m still enjoying their beers. Most recent batch…Secret Chord was good but long needle and clapback were fantastic. Tastes change but I’ve liked just about all their stuff

I picked up Old Nation's Boss Tweed and DDH M-43. The Boss Tweed is good but unremarkable, but the M-43 is stellar. Boss Tweed was about a week old and M-43 about 3 weeks old when I got them a couple of days ago.

I need to correct one thing: Boss Tweed is awesome. My first can was off, but the second was killer.

I tried Long Needle and Clapback because of this thread and they were both great.

The Whole Foods in Courthouse/Clarendon just listed BA Abraxas on their Untappd menu. That's got to be a mistake, right? Can anyone in the area confirm?

I tried their dark lager because of this thread, thought it was pretty good, would buy again.

I've only ever had the regular, so decided to stop by and try it. Its an excellent beer, but tastes like the regular to me.

Thanks! I've had the BA version (thank you, Snallygaster!), and, though I was skeptical before I tasted it, it genuinely lived up to its rating. The mouthfeel particularly struck me as superlatively oily. If the stuff on tap at WF drank like regular, it's almost certainly the non-BA version. Probably just a mix-up by whoever runs their Untappd menu.
