Try Mt Airy Liquors. A friend tells me he just bought it there last week

Total Wine does not have them, but Target does, they even list the remaining inventory.

Thanks I went to Mt Airy on Wednesday and got my 12 pack there’s a few left in the fridge there. Forgot how good Nooner Pilsner was. Ruthless Rye was just ok (sort of how I remembered it from 10+years ago). Taneytown was sold out of the Sierra Nevada packs when I called them on Wednesday.

OH Double Citra Daydream popped up around town and I was interested until I saw the price of $28/4 pack which was on par with the Fidens can prices. I know OH has always been a bit pricier comparatively but this just seems absurd and on par with the (imo) overpriced EQ stuff.

Yeah. I usually only buy their stuff at the brewery because of that

Yeah, I was already getting a bit burned out on hazies, and the steep prices recently haven't helped rekindle my interest in them.

Who the hell is charging $28 for that? That's quite a markup. I assume it's $20 at OH and CBC on H Street is charging $22.50 which is completely fair IMO.

People mock me for being cheap, so I have to laugh when I see posts like this. You're not going to buy a four pack of beer because it's $4-$8 more than the brewery price? I bet your wife really loves your thriftiness, lol.

Bro, take all the digs at me you want but no reason to take a shot at my wife. And yeah, when some of us have kids in daycare and a mortgage and a slew of other expenses, that ($28/4 pack) price is scrutinized.

Apologies, no shot at your wife intended...it was part of the playful dig on you. I guess i was talking from my own perspective...my wife doesn't appreciate it when I scrutinize purchases when there's only a few dollars difference in price. She refers to it as my "depression era mentality."

I am heading to a music festival this weekend (4848) and I picked of those up for my backpack/back pocket beers to get into the show grounds. I also picked up a 12 pack of PBR (as I like to break from IPAs at festivals and if PBRs get too warm they can still be drank), which was more expensive.

Assuming this is due to Flying Dog moving out of MD?

Probably well known throughout the land by this point, but Snallygaster tickets went on sale yesterday. See you all 10/14!

Is the VIP ticket worth the difference in price?

I think so, but others may value the highest-rated and scarcest offerings differently than me. There will be quite the cornucopia of very enjoyable beers that won't kick even by the festival's closing time, and you can still drink well without springing for VIP.
