DC/MD/NoVA Bourbon County Stout Sightings 2015

Missed out this year due to being out of town for the holiday.
Does anyone know of any bars that will have rare available sometime soon?

 

I am sure it will happen at some point in the near future, just like the past GI migration events that happened in the area.

I missed out mostly due to the fact that I had other priorities, and have had to spend the majority of this week at home sick with a cold. Cant even smell or taste anything right now.

Never say never it will probably come around in the DC area again in some other form or another. That's the great thing about the beer scene around here.

 

Sorry I didn't see this earlier. Not sure if they were out by then. They actually sold me some on Wednesday and I went back on Friday morning for 4 more.

 

There's a round of BCBS drops all over DC today...looks like there's also BCBBW. Anyone know if Coffee is popping up anywhere?

Arite.....got to Foggy Bottom a hair too late and now I'm coffee-pour. Good thing SMS is way better than BCBCS!

Yeah, because I clearly think that SMS is better than BCBCS...that's why I'm offering 6:1 and posting in this thread asking if anyone knows if there's BCBCS around. Take your pitchfork somewhere else, bro.

 

NOMA Teeter has Reg and Coffee but you have to talk your way into a bottle or two. Employees say it's all special orders for two people. There was apparently no limit yesterday and guys bought cases worth.

 

I was there last night and all I saw were Regular and Barleywine cases... Coffee was hidden or something?

 

No idea they were clueless and just said it was flying off the shelf. She said they had rye and rare yesterday too and what was left was for like two people who put in a special order.

 

Got a call yesterday from my place saying my "package" is in. I managed to score only 2x bcbs bottles this weekend where they only doing limit 1. I'm excited and curious to see what my "package" is tonight!

Anyone know of any bars tapping any of the variants this weekend between Falls Church and Alexandria? My buddy is celebrating his bday and we are trying to find a place besides Rustico that has it.

 

What variants did Rustico get? I thought Ballston just had BCBS and Barleywine.

 

Yep just regular and Barley.

 

Update only got two bcbs bottles. Apparently the wine source got 12 regal and 12 coffee and that was completely allocated.

 

So you were able to get 2 bottles in addition to your other 2 bottles from the weekend?
