DC Metro area bottle share?

    Hey guys, because for some stupid reason we aren't allowed to have general discussion threads I just wanted to let everyone know I just picked up some Founders Harvest Ale at Chevy Chase. They've got 12 bottles left, but you have to ask for it because it's not on display yet.

    Okay all, I'm going to set the next DC area Bottle Share at Smoke and Barrel for Sunday, December 9 at 4:30. Please let me know how this works for you, as I'm open to moving it up or back a week.

    Sounds awesome. I would definitely be interested in 12/9 at SnB. I don't have too much rare stuff, but could contribute the below bottles and should be able to pick up some more west coast stuff by then.

    Can't say for sure because that's right around the time I'll be finishing about 3 major projects/papers for school. Hopefully I can, but I won't know until probably after Thanksgiving.

    Any interest out there in reviving this? I have a few big stouts that I'd prefer to share rather than taking entire bottles to the dome. If Smoke and Barrel isn't too keen on the bottle shares anymore, I could probably host a small (8-10 people) bottle share at my house in DC, maybe in March. You'd have to like or not be allergic to dogs though, because I have a wild ten month old rescue lab that will knock you over and drink your beer.

    I'd be interested in participating. I've hosted a couple of very small tastings with friends, to coincide with UFC events. But unfortunately, one of our dogs has seizures that are stress triggered, I couldn't host much of a group. She'd been shot and had her hip broke before we got her, so is pretty terrified of people. Unless we are doing a 4-6 person group, I can't host
