DdC Dernière Volonté Anthologie

Very interested, I love Dernière Volonté and I've been missing it since they stopped bottling it. Is this a recent release? Maybe a trip to Peluso is in my future...

 

Haven't picked it up yet simply because I'm not a fan of beers aged in wine barrels

 

I like the base beer a lot. I saw that it has been released to quite a few stores in the last couple days, though all of them say it's a quantité très limité. Even though buying more beer is the last thing I need at the moment, I am going to see if I randomly happen upon it tomorrow in the course of running errands. If not, good for me. If so, well then I guess it was meant to be.

I am kind of more curious to try the Hérétique than anything.

Regardless of anything else, I dig that they are doing something like this.

 

The DV Pinot Noir is my all-time favorite BA offering of theirs next to PM Bourbon! Haven't heard about this, what do they retail for?

Yeah, last time they were available at St-Jerome, i grabbed as many as they would let me, which was only 4 lol. Long gone!

 

Most stores around MTL have been selling the 4pk for around 18-19$. The majority of stores are selling them 1 4pk/pp, though I've seen at least one store with no limit.

 

They all are great but the pinot thrills me the least but all in a all pretty cool pack. DV was the beer that made me fall in love with Dieu du Ciel back in 2005!

 

I bought a pack today for 18.99$ at Epicerie Prette in Pointe-claire. He told me he only got 2 packs though.

 

Yup, thats what I just paid. Not too bad a price even if you consider 1 of them is the regular 2.75$ DV. I bought 2, not sure how many more I could have bought. Best thing if you want more is to find them at supermarkets like big IGAs where the clerks have no idea about limits.

 

Couldn't find any at my local hippie grocery, which carries DDC but doesn't generally get the special releases. I'll hit up Peluso this weekend, hopefully they won't have been picked clean.

 

I was at Peluso yesterday and they were out. I was able to get 1 at Depanneur A.S. (Saint-Laurent & Fairmount) for $18.99 and I picked one up at Marche Lalime today (St-Laurent & Beaubien) for $17.99.

I haven't tried any of them yet from this, but I tried a few of them at DDC's birthday celebration and remembered liking them enough to hunt this down. The original DV in the 4-pack is not fresh though - bottled in September.

Would be willing to let the 2nd one go.

nah, i bought one yesterday.

went to lunch today at the dep that usually doesnt get any special releases and saw they had one and bought it again. would honestly sell it at the price i paid to anyone that wanted to share a good beer somewhere.

all about sharing not hoarding and inflating. might just send it out west to someone as a xmas present.

 

again - went to peluso yesterday.

they said they were gone the day they got them in.

 

That's mighty nice of you. I guess I just don't get the point of buying two just to get rid of one in order to help everybody get some when you could have just left the one in the store. To be sure, I'm not coming down on you or anything.

 

Yeah at Veux-tu une biere he said they lasted half a day. I was just letting MCMike know so he didn't trek over there.
