ok after many failed attempts to try and land some beers from these two breweries I turn to you fine advocates for advice. What does it take to land anything from these breweries. I'm not talking about the low bottle count stuff but the stuff that sits around for a little while. We don't have the hyped breweries here in Ohio like other places so just trying to get some advice on what I should seek out to get the fine folks in Colorado and Oregon to talk to me. Am I better off offering stouts....sours....ipas? Any help is appreciated and cheers.

No idea on De Garde but Casey doesn't sit on shelves. They release beer the first Saturday of every month. If there are any left over a select few stores in Denver get some (It's only been the Saison) and 2 stores in the mountains near the brewery get some (both Saison and Fruited). An example of what the release is like, Saturday the 6th Grape (12 cases with 2 bottle limit), blackberry and cherry (16 cases each with 3 bottle limits) were released. Based on a rough guess of the number of people in line those sold out within a couple hours.

To answer your question of what does it take to land, I'm guessing more limited release stuff or going over on $4$. I haven't traded any of the bottles I've got. I've actually traded for some since I haven't made all the releases myself. The bottles I've sent off have been thank you beers for being my trustee and on going trade partners that I thought might like to try it.

    Not sure if that helps
