    So I'm headed to Portland in a few weeks (coming from SF) for the first time and I have a lot of the local breweries on my agenda, but I will not be able to convince my traveling party to venture to Tillamook. Would really love to grab a few bottles to bring home? Does anyone know some local Portland bottle shops I could pick a few up at? Thanks!

    Bu Weisse and Petit Desay are the only ones you'll find, but should be pretty easy to find.

    If he were coming up right now, I'd say the same. We have a fair amount down here in Eugene as well, but only at a couple of stores. As for availability "a few weeks" from now, I don't know... the beer is popular, it's really, really cheap, so it sells. A few weeks from now, I could see the bu and PD being a lot more difficult to find.

    My advice would be to call around to places like Beermongers, Belmont Station and Johns's marketplace and the like, before driving around town trying to find some. Should still be available, but a few weeks from now, it might take a special effort to find some. I would recommend that the OP post this query again, when he's a bit closer to his arrival in town.

    Or set up an IP trade and meet some local beer folks ...

    I saw a few a Johns a couple weeks back...outdated info but i know they had them last time i was there...I think John M's suggestion of calling those places is your best bet

    More Petit Desay should be coming, based on the FB post today.

    But yah, setting up a local IP trade is your best bet.

    @kdpcp22 is you're staying in SW/NW part of town, you might check whole foods @ 1210 NW Couch St or Food Front Cooperative Grocery @ 2375 NW Thurman Street.

    Cheers and all the best.

    BiMart has de Garde? Seeing how my only experience with BiMart is during my time as a graduate student in Ellensburg, that blows my mind.

    The biMart on 122nd and Halsey is a very special place from what I am told.

    @TreeBear can elaborate.

    BiMart in Corvallis has a weirdly good selection, and good priced. I mean it's only like half an isle of craft + an end of the aisle cap but it's not bad. Though I always make sure to check the dates if I can, bought a bomber of Opal when if first came out in bombers, went back 6-7 months later and the bombers still had the same date on it.

    Nothing to see here just move along....

    The store manager of the 122nd BiMart is a big beer guy and I quote "orders what I wanna drink" which means a decent selection at a very reasonable price. Both DeGardes are priced at 4$. I wouldn't trust their IPAs but other than that it provides a nice selection.
