Well hot damn! I'll take a look at the spreadsheet and see what's not already accounted for along with the MI stuff.

    Cheers!

i'll bring a stout to cut the sour action. DCB DOS from Peg's/Cycle should do the trick.

Hey, sorry I just ran across this thread. I live in San Diego but will be in Portland for work and would be free on Sat the 21st for this. I know space is tight but I could bring up stuff from SD/Socal (Alpine, Toolbox, Bruery, open to suggestions)... anyways this looks like a good time!

That could certainly be arranged, does PDX get any Modern Times/Alpine distro?

We don't get modern times, alpine as you know is increasing distro to everywhere.

My vote would be for toolbox! They are on my list of breweries to try.

Toolbox just bottled their first beer and its being released this weekend (150 bottles), I got 1 and will be picking it up on Sunday. I could bring that.....

....also though with respect to Alpine yes distro is increasing but its the Green Flash brewed Alpine....if anyone has been trolling the Pacific forums you will see there is a hot debate between the Alpine vs GF brewed beers....

From personal experience GF has not been able to match and any of the Alpine brewed and bottled brews (Duet, Nelson, Pure Hoppiness)....

I know many of us have had all the Alpine beers many times over. While I still think Alpine makes the best IPAs in the world I also vote for Toolbox!

Hmm so... if I show up at Hop and Vine with some Toolbox and Modern Times beers u think it'll be ok? How serious are they about capacity? If that's an issue I'll stay away, I don't want to make anyone mad....

Only @Gobigvt7 can answer for certain, but I'll just say this.

I'm on the list, but right now I'm not positive I can go. If I do come, it will be for a fairly short time (an hour tops), and then I have to high tail it back to Eugene. So if you were to come around 5:00 for example, my spot would have already been freed up by that time (though I would be very sad not to sample the Toolbox or Modern Times... very, very sad).

Maybe I can overlap you by a few minutes so you can try them :stuck_out_tongue: I go to Toolbox a lot and they are killing it so hopefully their first bottle release is on point as well!

I'll wait to hear from @Gobigvt7, but I'll plan on bringing beer up with me....

    @SDRedDevil

We appreciate the consideration and discourse vs just showing up! I've been trying to figure out how doable it is in the days since your post, and I wanted to do a headcount of bodies in the shop during our Block 15 takeover last night to see what we could expect for the DeGarde share. At any given time, we had 30 in the bottleshop bar and and was standing room only, but not totally ridiculous.

Our last BA share in June, we ended up with 23 on the spreadsheet including +1s, some people didn't show and a few extras did. This share we have 25 confirmed and a handful of plus ones, so we're prob a legit 10 people bigger than last June (which was pretty epic). There is a little more room in the shop now, and a few tables and a lounge area w/ couches, but 30+ people is going to be fairly tight. I'm confident we can make it work, especially with you and @John_M having a small overlap. With the general hype around De Garde, I'm more worried about 20+ lurkers showing, because that'll legitimately cause problems.

MT is one of my favorite breweries right now and I hope they come up here soon. Haven't been able to try any of their new BA stuff, but would totally get into some cans, too. Toolbox I've never had. I'd say bring away!

Sounds good I will plan on bringing that Toolbox beer as well as one of the MT stouts (which i have now). MT has released a couple new IPA's recently so I'll see what I can find this weekend. Anyone with any specific requests just let me know and I'll see what I can do. I appreciate the hospitality!

This is mighty generous of you SDRedDevil. I don't thinkk we really have anything here in Eugene that compares to what you're able to obtain down in SoCal, but... Hellshire release is coming up. Want a bottle of Hellshire from the release this Saturday? :-)

(assuming I'm able to make it up to the share)

That would be awesome. I'm down to try whatever! Other than the stuff that get's distroed down here I have not a ton of OR beer (I really don't trade much). My goal for the trip as a whole is to try as much DeGarde, AA, Boneyard, Breakside, Cascade (probably stop #1), etc while im there. This bottleshare would be the icing on the cake to try some great stuff and meet ppl. I always leave room to bring a ton of beer back with me so i can easily bring a bunch up as well
