    wondering what this is going for. i’m assuming it’s a little tougher to land than the non-cognac version released earlier in the year.

    Wasnt this released a little over a year ago in cognac barrels? I recall trading for it (it said "in cognac barrels" on the label) yet I tasted almost zero cognac. Maybe this batch used fresher barrels idk..

    The most recent batch was, to my knowledge, only the 2nd batch that was aged in cognac (with many non-cognac batches in between).

    Maybe you traded for b1?

    Yeah I prob did but if you look at other reviews for b1 others have mentioned cognac barrels. Prob just a lot of bottle to bottle variation which is usually the case with wild ales.
