De Garde to start distributing to California?

Sure hope this is just a "Festival-only" thing ... such teases!

 

They have mentioned it on several occasions before. They want to distribute their bigger batch beers like Saison Premiere, Petit Desay, etc...

if I could get Saison Desay, Bu Weisse and other "shelfies" on the regular, I'd be a happy (poor/fat) man

Why would you be poor? About $5 for a solid bottle. I would be significantly richer.

That's true. Cascade is 1.5x what it is in Oregon. But I still think $7.50ish would be a steal for de garde

 

i was at dG weekend before last and trevor mentioned that wheels were in motion for cali distro. nothing crazy though, just the "basic" stuff.

 

Seems as though it's sitting around portland, so I can see them wanting to distro it more. There's been a decline imo from their earlier stuff. The recent imp. stone was nice though.

 

There will be bottles available but it wont be anytime soon.

 

Does an out of state brewery have to have this type of license to have their beer distributed to CA?

 

I wonder who their distributor is. Gotta go to my local shop and make sure they get some if they can. Hoping this isn't a Northern California thing only though.
