De Garde Vin Lee

I got mine as part of a package of 3 De Garde beers for some Tired Hands and Forest & Main bottled saisons.

 

I ended up working out a deal for 2 Vin Lees + some other PDX brews for a BB Damon + Port Damon last year, all I know is Vin Lee is my personal favorite sour. So jammy and tart, just remember to let it chill for like 12 hours because they known to gush.

 

I learned that the hard way. Only had it in for about 2 hours... lost over half the bottle. Quite literally, it looked like the Diet Coke and Mentos experiment.

 

Look for some Lee Kriek. It's even better than Vin Lee, and doesn't explode.

 

It seems your advice carries a lot of weight with me, my last two trades have been for The Archer and Lee Kriek Hoping to pop them at a GABF tasting party.

 

Totally agree with the sentiment ... but they're wildly different (pun intended). Collect them all!

 

Lee Kriek is pretty great. I traded a few and just shared my last one at a wedding this weekend.
