Death to "offers"

    If you don't like'em, then don't read'em. I got no problem with them, and I think they definitely have their place. Maybe I'm feeling generous and want to trade away a "mini-Whale" for a bunch of other stouts that I've never heard of before. "FT: mini-Whale || ISO: Stouts". I see nothing wrong with that. In fact, I think that would be a good example of this "beer advocacy" that y'all preach about so much around here; trading a 'whale' for anonymous regionals.

    It seems like the main difference is someone looking for recommendations versus offers. Both threads might says ISO: offers but you can tell when someone wants a good recommendation and when someone is looking to Make the trade to the highest bidder. It's that auction style that annoys me but I would also never respond to something like that or trade with someone that takes that approach so it's no big deal to me either.
