We all know Eagle Provisions and Bierkraft overcharge like crazy, and most bodegas charge a few bucks more than they should...

But are there any bottle shops in Brooklyn that are decently priced?

To clarify, I'm looking for anything between Park Slope and Bay Ridge.. Thanks!

if you're in Park Slope, join the Food Coop!! there was still Founders Doom on the shelf yesterday for $12.20 / bottle. Bierkraft was charging $20!

There's a bodega on 5th Ave a couple doors up from Bierkraft called 5th Ave Market or something like that, at the corner of 5th and Sackett that has pretty good prices and a decent selection. They had Bourbon County Coffee Stout for a loooong time at like $16 / bottle.

Brooklyn Larder sometimes has decently priced stuff but aside from the food coop I mainly pick stuff up in Manhattan.

I wish I could join Food Coop, but it's just too far from me to be practical.. I'm in the Flatbush/Midwood area (Brooklyn's craft beer wasteland), so I travel to Bay Ridge or Park Slope for my purchasing.

I also love the bodega near Bierkraft, but their pricing and selection are too hit-or-miss for me to consider them a reliable source. But I appreciate the suggestion.

I've actually never been to Brooklyn Larder, thanks for the advice! Will check it out soon.
