Decisive Beer Purchases...

    If I can't decide between two or three then I use my phone to view the BA ratings, and take the highest rated bottle.

    ugh....I live about an hour from there. Wish I could start a relationship with them. I do have a great relationship with my local CT store owner but the beer distro in CT is a pale shadow to that of MA. Kudos to you!

    I don't always go with the highest rated but I look up stuff on BA all the time while I am at the store. The worst is when you have a certain style you know you really want but then see something that probably won't be there next time you go and have no choice but to buy it instead.

    it's common to see me in a bottle shop for 15 + minutes just shopping around, comparing prices, bottle dates, checking BA via my phone... I just consider this part of being a smart consumer.

    Whenever I go to the handful of bottle shops I like to frequent, I basically brace myself (and my wallet) for the $20 or so extra I didn't WANT to spend, but, well, you know..
