    It's back! Per Facebook:

We just wanted to drop a little note about Collaboration Without Representation which is our Barrel Aged Imperial Milk Stout /w Coffee and Chocolate. We originally wanted to release this beer in November but felt the beer needed a little more time in wood to further develop the flavors. The wait is over as we will be releasing it at the brewery on Saturday January 16th at 12pm. We will be sending out details on the can pricing, release info and what else to expect. For now you can check out the new can artwork!

Phenomenal beer last year. I slept on it and didn't get much; won't make that mistake again this year.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it was only available at the brewery and Bottle Revolution. Went like hot cakes though.

Pretty sure it'll be at the 3 BR locations and I think that's it, 4 four packs per person is the limit, loved it last year.

Heard this sold out at the brewery yesterday in an hour.

Picked up a 4-pack today at Bottle Rev. Big crowd on hand. This year's version is more polished. Very balanced. Bravo, Paul and Ted.

Agreed. Missed out at the Brewery Saturday and hit up Bottle Rev on Sunday. Nice crowd with '15, '16, and a cask flowing. '16 is definitely more balanced and has a bit more coffee flavor. Less than $5 for a 16oz can is really nice value.

    Any of this hitting Charlotte?

Also picked up a 4-pack from BR yesterday and thought it was very, very good. Tasted about the same as last year to me, hard to remember exactly.

It tasted extra scrumptious paired with Seahawk tears yesterday!

    I don't think so. I believe it's brewery/ Bottle Rev's three locations only.

Can't wait for my trade partners to send me some cans, everyone I know that either hit DR for release or BR said this years is better, they were able to have both side by side on tap.

While I'm not saying that this year's isn't better, I'm not sure having the two years side by side at this point is really a fair comparison. If a 9-month old imperial milk stout with chocolate and coffee tasted better than the fresh version, then I would think the fresh one had an issue.

I'll be in town for NC Rare next weekend if anyone wants to set-up a trade. If there is anything you cant get in Raleigh that you would like to trade for, let me know. I can get growlers/bottles from charlotte, or I can jump across the boarder for some things out of SC. I would love a four pack of CWR if possible but will settle for a can or two. Thanks guys!!

Couldn't get to Bottle Rev this weekend with family in town for my son's first birthday party. Anyone have an extra four pack and willing to trade for a couple of bottles of Bourbon County?
