I got there just after noon...While I don't dislike Collab, I'm not a coffee fan in general, so I decided not to get in line. I just grabbed a pint of their new Spruce and Hemlock IPA and watched the people...I did grab a Collab that was red wine barrel aged and that really cut the coffee...too bad I couldn't get a couple of 4 packs of that one! I heard it was 120 cases in 80 minutes...That's quite a lot of beer moved pretty fast...

I thought I heard someone say that people were allowed to get back into the line (no guarantee that any would be left by then) but I am not sure if anyone tried. My wife loves coffee and really enjoyed both the Columbian and the Sumatra.

Just hit (and pretty much gone) in the Durham neck of the woods.

Popping up in a bunch of places. Easy to grab a 4-pack. $26 and change.

Saw this on Facebook from Raleigh Beer Garden: 26-Jan, 6PM-9PM

It's that time of the year! Deep River will release it's annual Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout full of coffee, chocolate, and other wonderful flavors. This year, they have done two variants - a Cafe con Leche version, and another aged in red wine barrels with cherries. We will have those three on, plus other regular/special beers from Clayton's finest, including Vitamin C Sour, Donkey Sauce, and their popular 4042 Stout on Nitro. The wonderful people from the brewery will also be on-hand, talking about their beers, handing out swag, and just being awesome.

Looks like they rescheduled from the 17th due to the weather....

While I didn’t see anyone get back in line there was one asshole that managed to cut in line. Granted he only jumped 15 or so people, but it’s the principle. And again, less than an hour after I got my two four packs they were sold out, so I can’t imagine anyone got back in line and walked out with more.

I think you are correct - on both counts...no need to jump in the line...you do what you can and deal with it...now maybe if someone stepped out of line to pick up a beer or hit the restroom, but no need to cut...I don't know if anyone did get back in line but did hear there was nothing preventing folks from trying...

As a side note - really enjoyed the Spruce and Hemlock I had!

Gate City Growlers in GSO is going to have cans and draft this Thursday. I imagine the other usual suspects will have some around that time, too.

Naw, I definitely saw this dude get in line after me, and yet somehow he ended up maybe 10 folks ahead of me. It looked like he had a friend or made a friend ahead of me. I can only guarantee he was in line behind me at the get-go as some of us were wonderin’ if we could grab a draft beer from the bar and enjoy it while we waited it line. There were one or two groups behind me that went and did as much, and then this cat saw everyone else doin’ it and did the same, but again somehow moved up in the line.

Again, I got what I came fer, so no hard feelin’s. Just kinda shitty.

I thought it was incredible this year. It just made it to Greensboro a few days ago and the only thing I can complain about is the price point. I've seen it going as high $33 for a 4pk!

I tried the Pinot BA yesterday and thought it was mighty fine. Still prefer the bourbon though, but appreciate the different flavors.

Bestway had it for around $25/4pk. One of the Lowes Foods had it and the Pinot Noir version at their growler station for $30/64oz.

I bet when Drunken Vigils hits the shelves again it'll be around the same, if not higher.
