Defalco's Clear Lake Grand Opening

    Learn how to homebrew day is saturday November 1st. Be sure to go support the guys at defalcos clear lake. They said they would have some pretty sweet sales going on though so check it out! 10am to 5pm

    They are inviting people to come by the shop with their rig to brew. They will provide ice and water and a discount on ingredients.

    Also:
    Bring a friend into the shop this Saturday and get them started homebrewing! Your friend will get $15.00 off their starter kit, and you'll get a $15.00 gift card!

    Should be a good time, I signed up to brew, they will also have beer on tap and I imagine they would welcome a bottle share...

    How did it go? I was out doing things with the kids from 7am and didn't get home until 4pm... had no energy to drive 35 minutes back to the store... I have been to the store though...

    It went well, if you go by the shop my beer should be fermenting away in the sink... There seemed to be a good flow of people and I enjoyed using the boil coil.

    BTW this friday at 7pm is the first Defalcos Clear Lake club meeting or the Space City Spargers. Will you make it?

    Can we bring commercial beer to drink or share? I only have two gallons of a SMASH ale in the fermenter right now...and some Apfelwein.. nothing bottled and ready.
