Defective Bourbon County Bottles

The mold variant is awesome!

 

Picked up two 4 packs of bcbs with no mold or serious bottle flaws. I do have one bottle with a cap not completely sealed though. Looks like someone took a bottle opener to it a slight bit. Guess I know what bottle isn't getting cellared.

Picked up in a SoCal Bevmo with a one 4 pack limit at 29.99 (26.99 after a discount I had saved up). All 8 are 14.4%

 

$20+ for a four pack and they can't fill them up all the way...FFS! Glad I didn't wait In line for that Shit show...

 

I had fill issues last year as well. I got 1 4 pack and 3 of them probably had 9-10oz in them. They asked me to send 1 back as proof and quickly sent me a check for the full retail price of the 4 pack.

 

Budweiser Continues Brewing Shit!

This is a disgrace! People stood in goddamn lines for this stuff and plunked down a lot of cash. It was 15º here yesterday morning!

Two things in Chicago no longer worth freezing my ass off for....Da Bears and da beers.

 

k so #1, Budweiser does not brew this beer. AB InBev may own the Goose Island name, but they do not touch the beer.

Got two from Vermont. No mold or anything but the bottles are shaped weird, almost flat on the front of the label...maybe they bought cheap bottles to bottle it

 

Not to mention the bottles are so sticky they're stuck to the ceiling

 

This thread made me paranoid, so I checked mine and they are fine! mold would have been obvious, and mine are a full 120z

 

This is crazy.

The brewery is worth MILLIONS.. Don't F$&k it up. Makes me not want to buy BCBS ever. Don't care what's in the bottle.. Too many good beers out there.

 

It's AB InBev's company now & they are ultimately responsible for the quality control.

 

I think his point is that is not AB InBev people coming in and taking over production.

 

Found some moldy stuff on one of my bottles. Ghetto Baudoinia perhaps?

 

Just checked my huge load of 6 bottles.....

No mold or shorted oz's, but the quality of the bottles are shit! These bottles came straight from a Chinese sweat shop!

What are the dates and color of the bottle caps of the bad bottles? I got one four-pack that had grimy bottles, and it those are the only ones I got with GOLD lettering on the caps. The rest are white. It was also bottled in August, whereas the others are later.

 

Hope that's not the case in NC/SC. My buddy picked me up a could 4-packs for when I return to the States next year. Not the best aging technique.

 

I checked all my bottles and they look exactly like bottles I have from 2012 and 2013, the abv is 13.8, where last year I have 14.2 and 14.9, the 2012 are 15%/ I wouldn't worry about it. Bottles were normal, fill was right, clean bottles.
