Honestly, it was moving from Philly to Colorado and losing access to Yuengling that probably provided the greatest push into discovering craft,as I lost my go to beer and had to figure out what to replace it with.

Bohemia seems to be a few steps above most other Mexican lagers (hi, Corona!)

    It's my go-to at a Mexican restaurant.

I`ll also add Narragansett Lager, somewhat flavorful, maintains flavor with food, but doesn't become overbearing.

Old Style. Been drinking it at Cubs games since 1983.

Golden Road Wolf Among Weeds. It is 3.66 on here and I gave it a 4.5. I know that many of the ratings were before they changed the recipe, but even so many of the more current ratings are in the average range. Nonetheless, I think it is awesome! Easily one of the best DIPAs I have had this year.

Longhammer played a huge part in my early craft days. Very solid beer.

I agree with most things mentioned but I'll broadly include the standard Goose Island lineup. They get shit on a lot because of the AB thing but none of those are bad beers. It's craft beer that is widely available and pretty cheap...this isn't a bad thing

    Fat Tire
It is incredibly unique, tasty caramel, and bready. I would think this beer would fall into the love it or hate it category. On BA it mostly falls into the hate it or think it's mediocre category.
    I really dig Fat Tire

I also agree with the Longhammer guys, sure its not really in the Sculpin arena. But, I think it compares favorably to old school hoppy classics that BA digs, like SNPA & Liberty

PBR is my adjunct lager of choice. Just because it and other American lights have a "BA" or "bros" rating that is high doesn't mean there isn't a place for it. For example, at a concert or Indians game, 24oz'ers are available and if its hot outside, you bet your ass Im going for one of those as opposed to a heavy or overly hoppy beer.

Good call.... Narragansett is as solid as they get in the world of AAL's. Great brew to bring to a summer cookout that's submersed in Bud Light, Coors Light, etc.

Lion Stout - when I could actually get my hands on it, pretty complex stout, ~9.5%abv and it was $9.99/6pk, pretty damn tasty stout that people dont really talk about on this site.

Zywiec Porter - Cheap and full of flavor ($1.89/500ml bottle)

Full Sail Amber - loved this stuff when I was out west and it was pretty cheap at $5.99 a sixer, better than most amber ales that were 2X the price.

My (greek) mother-in-law loves bringing this over. Not a big fan, but I'll drink one here and there. Tastes like Amstel to me.

I enjoy a couple twelve packs of Hamm's a couple times a summer. I have to add Coors original to my beer defense. Not nearly as cost effective as old Hammy I might add.

Funky Jewbelation for sure. I've drank several bombers, guzzled it on draft, and picked up several 12oz for $1.33 recently. The term "more for me" has never been more applicable.
