So I bought an older upright freezer that has cois on the shelving and I'm getting a lot of condensation. Any good recommendations so I can fix this? I was looking at one on amazon. Any suggestions? Thanis and cheers.

I have an upright freezer and had a lot of moisture in it last year. There was a puddle on the bottom that I had to regularly wipe up. I turned it off, took everything out and dried it off and left it with the door open to fully dry. After that I put in two DampRid containers, reloaded it and turned it back on. No moisture yet and it's been over 11 months. I've not even replaced the DampRid yet.

It took about a week to get most of the moisture out but now it seems like it's doing the job fine.

I just bought an upright freezer that has the coolant lines in the actual shelves and I'm having the same exact problem. The top shelf is the only one with condensation but there's a lot of it. So much so that it drips down onto the lower shelves and gets everything wet. Just purchased the Eva Dry E-500 and I have seen no change in the condensation. Not really sure what to do now.

Yeah my moisture came back. I put a couple tubs of Damp Rid in there that I had leftover from when my basement flooded, and that got rid of all the water again. I'm hoping the Eva Dry can now maintain well enough, or I might need to leave one of the tubs in there permanently.
