Was just thinking how nice it'd be to be able to delete trades that were posted, but are now completed. For instance, say I post a ISO: FT, and it's done in 30 mins.. it'd be great to be able to hit a "done" button (similar to the "report post" button) that automatically deletes the post altogether (or flags it for deletion). I think it would take a lot of the clutter out of the trade forums, and make it ten times easier to see what's actually current and out there for trade. Plus, if you forget to post update your post (like "this is done, thanks"), it'll eliminate all the unnecessary BMs that occur as a result. (And, let's face it, who wants unnecessary BMs? :grimacing:)

    Anyway, just a suggestion..

If this is done, it should still be archived somehow, so we can do a search and see what people have been offering up for certain beers... looking at trends etc.

As it is, I think people all have the option of deleting their original posts already. It would just be a matter of making it "normal etiquette" to do it. But its still nice to see what's been out there.

Maybe this is incorporated into the new trading system?

Next to the "Watch Thread" link there is a drop-down for "Thread Tools" which gives you the option to "Delete Thread."
