Tallgrass ipa can be a malty hoppy treat if it aint old. Too bad the cans aren't dated and can be a gamble buying a four pack.

La Cumbre will be canning their gold medal IPA really soon! Pumped for that, I will be doing a lot of trading with that

Forgive me for not remembering, but there's a Midwest website (at least one) that sells Furious and Abrasive. A quick thread search for online stores will probably yield the name amongst a list of other online stores. HT will be the run-away though...

Golly, I hear you, those are nearly two minutes of your life you will never get back.

Seriously, though, Torpedo in cans is the answer came first to me.

If I were you though I would do what I always do with my beloved bottles, have them hidden away and ready to pour.

HT/Furious/Caldera a real sleeper and at 6.2ABV a nice beer/beach brew. Avery IPA/Torpedo/ Modus Hoperandi.
    Dale's Pale ale

All together a pretty good list of brews an IPA guy would like.

Those cans were a very small brewery-only release recently, and they seem to be all gone by now. They might brew up more batches in the future but it's not exactly relevant to the OP at the moment...

Starting in August Chicago will be getting cans of Brewery Vivant from Grand Rapids. Keep an eye out for Triomphe (Belgian IPA) and Trebuchet (Double IPA). Their canned Saison (Zaison) scratches the hop itch too.

I just tried Westbrok IPA from South Carolina and I really enjoyed it. I got a few as extras, I'd imagine its not too hard to trade for.

Grand Circus IPA from Atwater; plus it's a session IPA, so you can pound all afternoon.

People keep bringing up Abrasive. While it is a phenomenal beer, it has been gone for close to 3 months now. If u trade for any it's prolly gonna taste like a shell of it's former self. There's plenty of cans that u can by in the local market that u don't have to trade for and are easily accessible (I would def try and trade for some Heady tho. Totally worth it). Ska Modus, HA Daisy Cutter, SN Torpedo, Avery IPA, Wild Onion Hop Slayer are just some of my fav IPA/DIPA/APA cans that u can get in the Chicago market. If u or a friend happen to head up to Wisconsin for any reason u can seek out some Oskar Blues cans. Here is a link to a store that ships Surly, 21st Amendment: http://www.france44.com/index.htm
