Delirium Noel bottle date code??

    The 2 and the 9 are notched. I'm not sure what it means. Best before Feb 2009, bottled in Feb 2009 or something entirely different. Any ideas??

    Not sure but you've got thirteen numbers so can't be the month, probably an internal code?

    I would say 2009 is your best bet. They have been using Julian dating for a few years now. 126th day of 2013, this years Noel:

    It would be the bottle dating. The 13 on my Julian dated bottle is also notched out.

    Thanks again! I will drink this this Christmas and compare to a fresh one. I hope it's not already past it's prime, I wasn't expecting one this old and it was the only one at the store.

    A big Belgian dark ale like Noel will age just fine.
