Glad Astarte isn't going the way of the dodo with the new brewer - I thought it was their best last time I was in.

Be Real was pretty awesome. Wrath was just not very good.

Find it humorous that a brewery with such demonic imagery has a kiwi IPA and a strawberry cream ale as their two best beers so far.

Did anyone notice that bottles of Wrath were on Hunterdon's release list for this week? Is that one they was part of their club?

Yup, Super Buyrite in North Plainfield has it listed on beermenus.

I had Scarlet Night the other day and was still not impressed with the quality. Was Demented always planning on distributing it's bottles right away? I thought the plan was for them to go to the Demonship (or whatever the club is called) and then leftovers to be sold at the brewery.

I guess they had a lot left over.

I'd imagine they needed to move units.

    Anybody try Sucker Punch?

I love the chardonnay characteristic and what it contributes on say a saision/sour/funky farmhouse. So, a bit curious how this turned out…heard some good things

I stopped Sunday to pick up my bottle .. Was impressed with the amount of people in the tasting room hanging out on a sunny nice day in NJ

How is it? Might make the trek if they still have it on for samples/pours?

I just drank a Dementia. It's very malty for an IPA but I enjoyed it. It reminds me of some southern-brewed IPA's I've liked. I now want to try Demented's RIS.

Has anyone been there lately? Anything worthwhile? I'll be 10 minutes away for my sons hockey game this weekend and might swing by.

A few weeks ago. I think their beer has mostly gotten better.

I went Sunday to pick up my bottle.. stayed for a taster. I gotta say they are getting better and better each time I go. I decided to re-up membership for next year. I feel that they are moving in the right direction.

How is Sucker Punch? The $18 price tag on an unkown sour gives me reservation.

Was thinking of swinging by to try that Oktoberfest. Any opinions on it?

Saw that they canned Scarlet Night today. Going out to stores and also sold from the tap room. I have to say it's a very solid beer and I like it more than I do most red ales.

Picked up some cans of scarlet night in the store yesterday. Thought it was tasting real nice. Pretty flavorful red ale. Nice option if they become easily available in stores
