    While this isn't the crux of this issue, I simply wanted to point out that I totally disagree with this. I think you should be aware of it for the future.

    Bottom line, weather is the sender's (your) responsibility, not the other way around. You ship when you're comfortable, and if you aren't shipping due to weather, you simply communicate that to the other party.
