I have only lived in Denver for about 4 months, and the friends that I have made aren't into beer as much as I am. I have some pretty good barrel aged coffee beers that I would like to do a blind tasting with, but I would like to share them, and share them with people I know will appreciate them. So I would like to set up a blind tasting of different BA coffee beers. The four that I have and want to use are... Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout Founders KBS Weyerbacher Sunday Morning Stout Lagunitas High Westified Coffee Stout *all most recent releases I'm hoping that others can bring some other beers that fit the category as well. Maybe try to get like 6 - 10 total. If not, no biggie. Unfortunately, my apartment is nowhere near big enough to entertain so I would be looking for someone to volunteer their place or recommend a public spot that would allow something like this. I have multiples of all these so I could bring extras so that we have enough to share outside of the blind tasting. I'm thinking either October or November but we can figure out a time that works. Just wanted to post plenty of time ahead. It would have to be a Saturday night or maybe Sunday afternoon with some football. Let me know if you're interested!
I'd be so down for that. I've got an '09 Dark Lord I might be able to share. If it lasts that long... I could probably find some others before then anyways. Let me know!
Still trying to see how much interest this gathers, but I will keep you updated regardless. I honestly wouldn't mind it being 3 or 4 people.
This sounds pretty cool, there is a newer share group that just got started within the last few months, I know people have gotten together a few times now. It was definitely fun...I believe its primarily through Facebook. Last one I knew of centered on raspberries, theme shares are always cool. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1655951957971674/
