Seeing a few Untappd friends check-in at beer fests this weekend throughout the nation - makes me want to attend one. Since GABF isn’t happening this year, are there any worth attending around Denver? Winter is coming…there’s gotta be a Winter Warmer, heavy hitter stout fest coming up, no?
Also of note - I moved to Denver a year ago from Nashville. Have yet to attend a fest. It’s eating at me!
This (see link) was always the MAJOR festival event on the winter calendar in CO, but has been cancelled again this year due to COVID complications. Maybe next year? https://bigbeersfestival.com/
Your best bet is to probably find a brewery anniversary party or something like that. Dry Dock's anniversary is the weekend, for example. Most of the major fests have been long cancelled, but there's always this: https://brewfestevents.com/denver-winter-brew-fest/ Those events tend to be about mass consumption of normal stuff, but there's something to be said for that.
Not sure where you're at, but South in your Mouth is on the 23rd. A small number of breweries from southern suburbs of Denver metro. South in Your Mouth Beer Fest Tickets, Sat, Oct 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM | Eventbrite
