Kids are allowed until 7pm, but some places won't extend that courtesy to 18+. Twans Burger inside is good but temporarily closed so no idea what the food options are.
...apologies for the late response...in short, I don't have a lot of insight into the Denver beer scene at this point...I would think River North would be well worth checking out (although I haven't been to any of their new locations)...Wynkoop is always an option: family friendly, perhaps they'll have their Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout on tap (three balls per barrel), decent pub food and some guest taps as well...
What are the best beer bars in Denver? I´m mainly looking for barrel-aged stouts/barleywines. I know that, for breweries, New Image, Cerebral and River North would be the to-go-places for barrel-aged stuff (as Burns family has closed), but are there good beer bars that would offer a wider variety of breweries (for barrel-aged stuff)? And what are the best bottle shops in Denver for stouts/barleywines?
If you're looking for BA and high octane stuff, the Bull & Bush is going to be tough to beat. They should have a wide variety of items like that in bottles.
