Hi all, I have, admittedly, historically only used BA for research purposes. My husband and I just moved to Denver from the Bay Area where we had a pretty solid group of beer geek friends who brought or shipped things from other areas (I travel a bit so was more of a "pack it in the suitcase and bring it back" sharer, so I never really needed to get into the shipping trades, though now we just might with friends back in the bay). What we are missing incredibly is our weekly(ish) bottle shares. We often had someone bring some rarities, and a lot of just bringing something they enjoyed - no pressure to always produce a whale. We would love to share some of what we have with some folks out here and get to know more of the favorites available locally. We are happy to host, and are wondering if anyone else would be interested in starting a small group of semi-regular shares. Nothing too big or crazy, and no need to show up to every one, just casual beer shares. Any interest? If so I can coordinate with interested parties and we can host the first to see how it goes.
We are currently in a rental in Golden Triangle but moving to Uptown once our new place is out of construction (Sept/Oct), so pretty central either way.
It would be nice to set up something dedicated to Denver - I don't know of any that definitely happen and occur regularly. I would be willing to host on occasion, I live in Riverfront Park.
Happy to see some interest - will let this post for a day or two and then start an email thread with interested parties. We are out of town this weekend and July 4th, but could do the first of hopefully many either the weekend of June 27th or July 11th.

I'll be driving through town next week from Nashville to Oregon, and would be up for a share along the way. It'd be nice to see what locals feel really stands out in Colorado. I could bring somethings from here, or along the way or some PNW stuff I have here.
