Headed to denver and boulder aarea with some friends. Going to ski that friday. Asking the locals when PtE typically comes to Falling rock and is on draft? My friends have either never had it or not had it on tap. Also other places we can't miss. I know the Downtown area fairly well. Will be staying downtown that weekend.

Also places in Boulder would help to. Thanks guys.

    Cheers!

Falling Rock usually has it and Back Country Pizza in Boulder usually has it along with Blind Pig.

I think you mean Pliny the Younger and there's a thread about it already. Looks like you'll miss it by a month. Funny thing is, I'll be in Denver those days as well but since I'll be moving there before the end of the year, I'm looking forward to getting me some Younger next year.

No I actually meant Elder. I already knew I am missing is by about a month. (I blame my friends, waiting for their bonus to hit :x) All I am looking for is Elder on draft, and good taprooms with a lot of goods. Thanks.

Sorry about that. If you ever get to San Francisco, hit the Toronado. I had a PtE on tap there and when the bartender put it in front of me and I took a whiff, I thought I was in the middle of a pine forest. Best draft beer I ever had. But even if you don't find PtE in Denver or Boulder on tap, there's plenty of other beers to choose from. And there are plenty of breweries that don't can or bottle - they're kinda hidden gems. And fun to find and find out about.

Falling Rock and Backcountry are your best bets. It's usually on. But when you get it do yourself a favor and also get a pint of Comrade Superpower IPA and drink them side by side. Don't think you will order another PtE.
