    Just an FYI

Prost is pouring an oldie and goodie this weekend: Tivoli Helles
Apparently it's a contract brew, but I don't know if Tivoli (the Auraria campus student center building) is actually still in business or what. Regardless, it was pretty darn good.

Wasn't sure how to review this one, or add it to the database :slight_frown:

    EDIT: Oops forgot to paste:

I was wondering about this. They had the beer listed on their site last month.

Actually, it is DAMN good. :grinning: I hope they keep Tivoli; that was mighty tasty when I took my aunt to Prost on Friday afternoon. She had a dunkel and after tasting my Tivoli, decided she needed a glass of THAT, too!!

Had a taster of it the other night and really liked it. If your a fan of that style I'd suggest stopping in and giving it a go.

Had some yesterday. It's full-on wonderful. No clue if it has any resemblance to the old Tivoli beer, or even if they wanted to, but as an American helles it's about as good as they come. They're even using an Andechs lager yeast for it. They're one of if not THE best German brewery to me. Plus, I personally prefer helles to pils, so I'm loving this option.

I got a sample of Bill's Maerzen and it's also going to be pretty epic. While fans of the burnt orange Oktoberfests might be a little confused, this one is a mix between those and the more common pale varieties usually served these days.

Prost has turned out to be everything I wanted and maybe even more. I just wish I lived closer to it!

If everyone can leave this thread and give @domingo a minute, I think he needs some alone time.

LOL, my wife and I were talking about this yesterday. It’s pretty funny that one of the best brewers of the styles we love just happened to be located less than 5 miles from our house. When he left, he just so happened to gut a brewery from Bamberg and promise year-round versions of our favorites. It was fate J
