More BAs from NC coming to Colorado...

I'll mostly be in and around Littleton Wednesday-Sunday and with unfortunately few free minutes to do beer things. I'm looking for a stop or two to make in order to pick up some quality stuff to drink while I'm out there and to bring home. Any additional recommendations south of the big city? I saw Tispy Liquor World come up as a good stop in the places reviews.

@tylerstravis, does Mile High always have Casey or is it hit or miss? People rave about it out this way, but is it usually around on shelves at select places?

Looking to also get some La Cumbre Elevated and any other solid IPAs that I can bring back with me. Thanks in advance.

I was told that Casey cannot be found many places. Mile High had cases sitting on the shelf and I would recommend that shop for more than just Casey.

Tons of IPAs around. Grab Odd13 and Melvin. Elevated just dropped recently so that should be pretty fresh. Pipeworks is usually around.

Mile High is one of the places that usually has Casey when it's in town. Don't know how they are stocked right now but you can call them if you don't want to waste a trip there and find nothing.

As far as stuff near Littleton I'll let others post about that. Not my part of town. I think the new Breckinridge Brewery place opened down that way

Were the Casey bottles through a trade? I didn't know that they were all that easy to pick up. Will be in town next week and would love to grab a bottle or two.

    Drink all the beer.

J/K- I like the options in the RiNo area when I'm in Denver. Epic, First Draft, Spangalang (technically 5 Points, but not far)

Only two or three different Casey bottles hit stores in Denver regularly and only at a few stores. Mile High has had three different options for a while now, but it's worth a call first.

All of the other Casey bottles are a bitch to get your hands on.

    Cheers!

If you're in or around Littleton, I'd recommend Davidson's and Lukas over Tipsy's...and that isn't a knock on Tipsy's either. Those are just two of the top stores in the area. They're a bit further down the road, but still within 10 minutes of Tipsy's.

With Casey bottles, they show up in town here and there. Mile High, Mr. B's, and Grapevine have had bottles. There could be more, but I know those have for sure. Small Batch maybe? Biere de Garde is one of the latest ones to show up and it's (IMO of course) one of Troy's best. No clue if it's still around, but it's as likely as any.

I saw 3 cases of Brett Loves Mosaic at Grapevine as of a couple hours ago.

Going to be in Denver in 2 weeks, hijacking this thread instead of creating a new one. Going to be in town for 5 days, got tickets to Casey, planning on hitting the big names CS, Falling Rock, TRVE, etc etc. Curious about Bars/Restaurants to eat at?

I'm also shipping myself a 12 bottle shipper full of NC stuff then filling back up and sending denver stuff back home. Planning on leaving or popping NC bottles around town.

    Dear diary,

I cut the grass today. I don't like the neighbor's cat. I wish I was taller, wish I was a baller. I wish a guy from NC would share his vacation plans because I care. I really do care and hope he has a nice meal.

Yeah I totally agree, Colorado beers in general are wayyyy overrated, no reason to come here from out of town at all, i think everyone is better off going to Vermont or California or something for sure

I am actually in VT now. I brought one of the Juicy Bits crowlers with me for comparison, and it def competes well with the likes of Edward and Sip of Sunshine.

Better not give an honest opinion of beer on a beer site!
