I don't see any posts around the Denver Tech Center since pre-covid and, well, a lot is different since then. So here goes.

12/9 I'm getting into Denver at 12:30pm. I'll be staying in the Denver Tech Center. I won't have a car, but can Uber around. I'm looking for a good brewery to kill time until the evening (would be great to have lunch there, but good beer is the priority!) Also, looking for somewhere to get beers to go to bring back home.

As far as breweries - It looks like Dry Dock South is a good brewery option, as well as Resolute, and Comrade. I also see there's a Great Divide location nearby but not sure if that's worthwhile.

For beer to go - I see there's a King Soopers and Heritage Wine and Liquor near by. Thoughts?

Anything around the Denver Tech Center, or reasonably on the way from the airport to the Tech Center is fair game. I've got the afternoon free, but will be meeting colleagues for dinner, and, unfortunately, flying out immediately after some Tuesday morning meetings.

Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!!!

I live in the area and none of the breweries in the immediate area are worth writing home about. They are all solid, just not memorable. However, if you are willing to make the drive then Comrade and Dry Dock are both great. Spice Trade has good food and usually some fun and interesting beers as well.

Heritage is definitely the best option for to go beer. However, DTC Wine and Spirits is smaller, but has a good selection as well and might be closer to where you are staying. I would definitely skip King Soopers.

Downhill Brewing (out of Parker, CO) took over the space previously occupied by Peak View Brewing. I think their beers are solid and worth a visit.

Grocery stores = not really good options for beer most of the time. They've only legally been able to sell non-3.2% beer for a few years and most haven't really embraced it. Luckily there are quite a few good stores around there. Molly's, Heritage, and Davidson's (2 different locations) are really good options. There's a Total Wine near the mall, but they're pretty infamous for having warm + old stock.

Brewery-wise, they just lost one of the best breweries in the DTC, Little Dry Creek, this past weekend. Right now the closest options would be Resolute, Downhill, Lone Tree, Spice Trade, 3 Freaks, Halfpenny, and Rock Bottom. That's the order I'd rank 'em, with the first couple being especially good. The Great Divide location down south is more of a restaurant than anything else. They have most of GD's beers on tap, but the prices are steep and I don't think they have anything unique to that location. The food IS good, though.

With Uber/Lyft in play, Comrade, Bull & Bush, Dry Dock, Six Capital, and Launch Pad are all within easy reach. All are top notch, too. I'd happily recommend every one of those. The food at the B&B and Six Cap = quite good, too. Danico is another good option that's on your way to/from the airport.

Hit me up if you want to stop by Comrade, I'll show you around.
From Comrade, it's a straight shot down to DTC Wine & Spirits and then just south of there is DTC.

I think Resolute is a top-tier brewery in the Denver area, though they don't get quite as much love as some other breweries, probably because of their location. But they make excellent lagers, hoppy beers, and high ABV stuff as well. It's a great taproom also. Highly recommend checking it out.

Quick follow up. I went to Comrade - the beers were awesome. I love a good ol' WCIPA! Shout out to @dauss for taking the time to show me around!

I went by DTC Wine and Spirits for some beers to bring home. Solid selection, and even grabbed a Pliny!

Thanks again for all of the suggestions! Hit me up if anyone ever has any Houston questions!

    Cheers,
    Ryan

Mollys is an ok stop but if you want the best selection of beers go to bevys in parker. Every time I go I'm amazed at what they have on the shelf.
