We are going to Denver for a quick business trip, and will be staying at a hotel near the airport. Any places reasonably close by that you might recommend?
    Thanks

Dry Dock on Tower Road is a must, Green Valley Ranch Beer Garden (usually a good beer selection, I can't speak to their food), Ursurla Brewing and Cedar Creek Pub aren't too far away and usually have good selections.

I would hit Station 26. Relatively close to the airport, cool space, and they make great beer.

I'd take the light rail downtown or to RiNo. The airport is really in the middle of nowhere.

How long are you going to be here? The good places near there have been mentioned. DD North, Ursula, and S26 are all good stops and shouldn't cost much or take long to reach.
The train will take you to the heart of downtown or you could Lyft/Uber, too. Thanks to the airport being close by, there will be rideshares everywhere. That opens up places in the 'burbs like Comrade, Bull & Bush, Cerebral, TRVE, Vine Street Pub, Black Project, etc.

Sorry to be that guy, but this topic has been thoroughly covered many times over the last several years. A simple search would allow you to access the countless suggestions that have been given over the years as well. Happy Searching.

quick question i have a friend going to Denver on a skiing trip. trying to get him to bring some beer back. How is Mockery Brewing? Is their French Toast Stout of Scotch ale worth the hassle? Don't see that they can anything?

They're solid. Nothing mind-blowing, but well worth a visit. Competition is fierce down there and I'd say they're among the better half of the places in that neighborhood. The scotch ale is good. Never had the French Toast. They had a bottled BA stout that was considered a hidden gem around town, so there could be others.

French Toast was sweet as could be but I love it. It was a collab with Baere. Pretty limited.

I liked it too, definitely sweet. I thought it was a little pricey for the 500ml, but it's worth a 1 time buy.
Their scotch ale is good for what it is, but if I remember correctly they aged it in scotch barrels once upon a time and it was fantastic.
The best beer Ive had from them was Schizophrenic Narcoleptic, though if that's still around I would prob steer clear.
They do have a rum aged RIS listed that I haven't had yet but might make the trip down for it

Rum Barrel is solid as well. On the shelf at some spots (I hear Wyatt's?)
