    Hello BA's!

The wife and I will be road tripping through the Midwest in a few weeks and were hoping to get some meetups/trades/shares/recommendations for the trip. We will leave from Chicago Wednesday May 14th, stop for lunch in St. Louis (Most likely at Shlafly) then continue to Kansas City and call it a night there (dinner at Boulevard) The next day we will continue on to Denver and remain there until Monday the 19th. Along the way back we hope to spend the first night in Omaha ( I have no idea what to do in Omaha) However as we pass through Iowa on our last day we're going to try to hit Toppling Goliath.

We intend on traveling with no less than a case of Zombie Dust and another good assortment of FFF bombers (Arctic Panzer Wolf, Dreadnaught, Blackheart and War Mullet...maybe more. Additionally, if anyone wants it I'll bring along some New Glarus bottles. I'm happy to share, give away and trade along the way. If anyone wants to take a look at my "gots" and want to set up a larger trade then I'm happy to oblige.

I would love to meet some people and build some ongoing trade relationships that are beneficial for everyone. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me. If anyone has the capacity to organize a share in Denver I would love to contribute as much as I can.

    -Corey

I recently moved here from Kansas City and not sure if you mean that you're eating at Boulevard? But they don't serve food there, nor do they have food trucks. You can't just walk in there like any normal brewery and expect to drink in the tasting room - you'll need to sign up for one of their tours unless something has changed in the last few months. I'd recommend going to Oklahoma Joe's (any location) for some BBQ and get some Boulevard on tap. You'd be doing KC wrong if you didn't have OK Joe's.

A bunch of us usually get together for a bottle share at least once per month, but I haven't heard when we're having one in May yet.

^Without a doubt. Not the greatest bbq I've ever had, but I'd take it over Gate's any day. Keep in mind I've only been to KC like 4 times, but that was the assessment I made.

I always love meeting travelling beer lovers and would be happy to do an IP, even if it's just for locals. PM me if you're interested!

Man, I'm really missing some OK Joe's. Makes missing the Epic meet-up okay because we'll be gorging on OK Joe's in KC.

lol, good advice so far. I'm only going to be in KC for one night so I'll have to make sure I hit Joe's since it's so highly recomended.

Check out Bier Station while you're in KC as well. Too bad you're only going to be in town for one night, otherwise I'd also suggest checking out Waldo Pizza. AMAZING pizza and a surprisingly awesome beer selection.

Lol, I love that the Colorado post has been taken over my Kansas City BBQ recommendations!

Are there any BYOB style places around Denver that could host a share? Maybe someone with connections could help set it up? As of right now I have about 12 bombers of FFF and the case of Zombie dust(a couple of six packs are spoken for already in trades) It looks like I may be making a quick trip up to Wisconsin to grab some New Glarus bottles too.

Couldn't tell you, I've only been in Denver for about a month now and haven't met up with this group for a bottle share yet. But I'm gonna fight to make sure that I never miss one again.

Technically no. it's not legal to BYOB to a bar. But someone with connections might be able to bend the rules for you.

I have make it to your fine city. Btw, OK Joe's was great in KC. Best gas station I've ever been to. I'm heading over to Great Divide tonight!
