well, its a bit of an oddball that one, a friend gave it me, here it is

so it does look like its celebrating some sort of football win from the front, but from the back

its actually celebrating wins in some international beer competitions, so, not too sure what the footballs got to do with it!

cool little glass though (i say little, its a half litre size), i rarely use it if im honest

Yep, I use my Kulmbacher and NERAX Wille Becher for more beer than any other. I oddly like the Sam Adams Boston Lager glass as well, fits a 12 oz. bottle perfectly.

This is my souvenir of the best two biers I had the last time I was in Germany. It's filled with my homebrewed German style Pils.

My German uncle who passed away quite a few months ago, I was able to get a bunch of his stiens... Some are kind of tchotchkies, but some are real impressive, but I don't think I could ever drink out of them they seem to special...

Finally ordered some branded glassware. Got a pair of each in case I ever make friends with someone not IPA-crazed. The Jack's Abby is the lone American; like the concept of having a House Lager on tap at home.

Man, that Ayinger Celebrator glass would complete my collection. Always out of stock when I look.

I always find those big 0.4l Kölschstangen irritating. I own several branded ones, but somehow I rarely use them because it feels "wrong".

Nice collection. I think I have some version of all those (and multiples of each in some cases), but the 1 liter HB is the only exact match I own.

Is the House Lager mug bigger than a 1/2 liter, it looks bigger than the HB one? Also, do you intend on having Jack's Abby's House Lager on tap at home, or do you just mean any "house lager"?

I ask because I'm personally still not a huge fan of their House Lager, liked it a lot when it first came out. But the since it was canned I haven't dug it as much, supposedly the latest batches have been better/more consistent, but I didn't find that to be the case. This goes for both cans and draft too.

The JA is definitely bigger than HB. There was no size description when I ordered, just assumed it was 1/2 liter. Will check again after work.

I'm starting off with JA House Lager on tap but will certainly explore other logs in the future. I really like it; has a sweet breadiness to it and pure malt flavor that demands another pour. My only experiences have been with March and April can/keg dates.

I have waaaayyy more belgian glasses than German ones, but when I pour my German brews, my favorite is into my "leaning" Karslberg glasses:

My modest collection. The 0.5 L Paulaner probably gets the most use out of any of them. I threw my two Ramsteins in there even though they're not "proper" German glasses.

The Willibecher is good for all beers and widely used when you need a standard glass for classis beers like Helles or Dunkles. It's quite cheap because it has no handle. It started 1954 (pre-war glasses were with handles)

Good brewpubs still serve quality beer in mugs. In summer I use stone mugs, pre-cooled in the freezer.
