I'll be in town for Derby starting tomorrow. Are there any beer related events I should be aware of? I'll most likely try to make my way to Holy Grale, Sergio's, and a couple other places. Just wondering if there is anything in particular going on that I wouldn't want to miss.
Typically most places do not do Derby specific events. Its busy enough that there really is no need to do a specific event to draw people in. The Boombozz Highlands Taproom is doing a Kegs and Eggs on Friday morning starting at 9:00 AM with a really good lineup. This afternoon Liquor Barn in Springhurst (east end of town) is having a ton of Barrel-Aged beers on draft. Don't have the list in front of me, but there will be some heavy hitters to sample (including 2013 BCBS). If you have the time, i'd try and hit that up. Starts at 5pm.
