Anyone hitting up any of the Deschutes Base Camp events happening around Chicago this week? I went to Southport Lanes last night, beat the brewer at bowling and got 2 bottles of HOTD/Deschutses Collage! Glad the bowling was fun, and that's a nice prize. For me, the most interesting of the events is tonight - http://deschutes-horsethief.eventbrite.com/ - I've never had a chance to try Black Butte XXII, and Collage on tap sounds great. It's too far south to get to easily, however, and I just don't think a combined four hours of mass transit is worth it, particularly on a weekday. I posted something on another thread asking if anyone was driving down from the near North Side or Downtown, but crickets. Ah well...maybe I'll get to Whole Foods on Saturday
