What's BIG RED you ask? Well, it's an imperial version of Cinder Cone Red aged for 6 months in Cab and Syrah barrels and is the first release in our Public House Reserve Series. Get your bottle(s) soon as supplies are limited and they're only available at our pubs. Cheers!

Thanks for the heads up. My parents have been in Bend all week, I'll have them get me a bottle.

My mom picked me up a bottle in Bend earlier today, so it's not just Portland.

They may be in the clear since this isn't going to be a distributed product.

Oh it probably won't even be an issue. It seems like the NW brewers don't get all bent out of shape over beers having similar names. Just look at Fremont and HUB with Abominable.

There's a Dark Star Oatmeal Stout by R&B up in Vancouver, too.

Fremont don't give a fuck. Good peeps.

Not sure how well a hoppy red ale will mesh with red wine barrel character. This is one I'd rather try on tap before throwing $15 at 22 ounces.

I managed to get a sample of bottle pours at the Portland Pub, not too hoppy pretty mellow on the red ale front I pick up some cab notes and a super dry tannic finish from the barrels. I picked up 3x bottles put two down in the cellar and will see how they change.

Just wondering if anyone can get 3 bottles of these for a trade with me in So-CAL?

I'm more than happy to just having Cinder Cone available locally...

I drank a bottle. I tasted wine more than beer. Didn't think it was worth the $15. Just my 2 cents, and like real pennies, pretty much worthless.

I thought it was great, good flavor and I believe cellarable, I bought 5, guess the release didn't go as well as expected. Its been out for some time.
