Does anyone know why they had to use a different bottling machine?

 

They do not want to infect there regular bottling line with any sour bugs.

 

That was the only thing I could think of but thought it might be something else. Thx

still have 1 2010 left enjoyed another 2010 about 6 month ago (it was so good) need a few 2012's (i want) for the cellar

 

Good thing it isn't! 2009 aged beautifully.

 

I hope I can get some, other wise I'm planning on trading some Penta/Darkness later this winter.

Really? Thought it was 09. Maybe I bought an 08 in 2009. Don't remember exactly, but it was aged at least 2 years and it was wonderful.

 

Meh, it is not as good as all the hype it gets.

But really, I think Dissident is fine but seems like people trip over themselves just because it's seasonal and hyped. If this was any everyday beer on shelf I don't think there is any way it would get the attention that it does. Just my $0.02.

People will always trip over seasonal, lower count, tasty beers from great breweries. Thats just the way it is.
