My local Meijer can't keep the stuff in stock. Every time it shows up shoppers will run through the entire shipment in less than a week.

Fantastic IPA for those of us who don't see a lot of the top tier IPAs in the country. Hard for me to find fresh, but when I do...I buy. Delicious.

    It's called the beeradvocate effect.

Basically any beer that is widely distributed and always available, must therefore be no good.

The only good beer is the stuff that you can't get!

That being said, if fresh squeezed was rare and only distributed in a few states, it would be one of the highest ranked beers on here.

Did you fill this request? I'd be happy to do a trade. I have some about 1 month old locally.

I too get a soapy quality to this one. I don't get the love. I've had it twice and both times the same. I'm in Utah so maybe it's the government improper handling of the beers?

They're just trying to wash your mouth out with soap for sinning :stuck_out_tongue:

I've only had 9 different deschutes beers but they've all been excellent. I'd take inversion IPA over fresh squeezed anyday

Hahahahaha so true! It's bad here. Some of the workers at the State liquor store should be nowhere near the beers.

I'm torn on this beer. I really like the hop profile and really dislike the malt profile. It tastes under attenuated for some reason.

Hadn't had this one for a while and my neighbor gave me one yesterday. What a solid beer and under 6.5% I think?

Great taste and low(er) alcohol = winner

I'll be the odd one out but I found nothing at all special with this beer. 1 month old, bought from supermarket in VA. Wouldn't buy again.

Ha. Maybe you're right. Maybe I'd hate Pliny and Heady if I could get them anytime like I can Fresh Squeezed. I'm still in love with Sucks though and I can get that whenever I please! What a conundrum.

I agree, I typically prefer DIPAs because they're less bitter and tend to be more sweet than most IPAs but Fresh Squeezed is definitely one of my favorite IPAs. I prefer it over Sculpin any day of the week and costs half the price.

There is a dive bar in front of my subdivision, this is the only craft they have in a bottle. When I need to escape, that is where I go. When it cools off here going to go up there at nite and have one while walking the dog, can't get better than that (they have a patio)

I've enjoyed it from the bottle several times and thought it was outstanding. I last had it on tap and thought it was a malty mess--I questioned if it was actually FS.

Side note: I love name and bottle art for this one too.

My favourite IPA now that you mention it.

Really enjoy this one too. It's a toss up between this and Lagunitas Citrusinensis for the best beer to chill-on-my-back-porch-and-drink-beer beer.
