I tried this at the St. Paul Summer Beer Fest this past weekend and it was great! The person pouring mentioned it would be released this week in bottles. Has anyone seen it?

Drinking one right now, SUPER tasty. Tons of sweet, juicy hops. Lots of cases hit the market, so it should be easy to find. For $4.99 a bomber, it's a steal.

Why go to FF, when you can save some money just down the road @ F44?;)

Picked up a bottle yesterday and thought it was outstanding. Hardly surprising, Deschutes consistently makes quality and affordable beers. $4.99 22oz bomber at Lake Wine and Spirits.

You know you only get IPA's 6 weeks after their best by date.

Funny you guys mention the lack of freshness in Roch. When Surly Wet came out last year, Rochester had it the day of canning and two shipments of it. When Abrasive hit the shelf, it was a day after canning if I remember correctly but we only got 2/3 different canning dates. Thing is, with all others with the exception of a few Founders products, Rochester gets short changed on freshness and of course, bigger markets get taken care of first and I completely understand why. Rochester isn't the biggest craft hub in the state but the BA's down here appreciate the community (of craft) we have here and it's growing, slowly....but growing.

It was there this morning? I'd hope they got more than a single case, but maybe not? Let me know if you don't get any, I can get you my 2nd bottle.

I picked up two at Andy's crossroads about 7:30 tonight. They must have restocked. There were two left after I picked up two. I would imagine it will be around the next few days in the Roch. Pretty tasty.

Haha, I'm serious. I just drink local brew these days. I don't chase new releases.

The FF charges more so they can recoup the cost of the barrel that someone stole at 6:11 in the morning on Sunday. If we could by beer on Sundays, maybe someone would have been there stocking the shelves ;)

Just grabbed a bottle from Cellars in Eagan. They had about 6 on the shelf, not sure if there is any in back or not.

Really like it. That said, "good price point for a bomber" doesn't equate to "good value, will buy this regularly," as is so often the case.
