FYI boys and girls! Watch out for the 4 pks of Destihl Strawberry Blond. The cans are starting to blow up! Literally! Just had three packs blow by just moving them into a box for cover. #badbeer

I'm going to explain the phenomenon for you, the beer is such shit that it wants to escape from the can and pour itself down the drain...

They were explicitly supposed to be refrigerated.

They are unpasteurized and the information passed onto the distributors several times, and reports are that distributors were telling their stores from what I can see.

That said, if they are not refrigerated.. they'll be prone to continued fermentation and compromising the cans.

I was not told this, FWIW.

OP and I work at Binnys in Lake Zurich where this happened, and I don't believe we were told either.

Sounds kind of odd for a Blond Ale

Why would a Brewery put out an unpasteurized beer in a Can ? Of course it's going to second ferment and no tin can, can hold that. Be it in a Fridge or not. A live beer is a live beer...
