Destihl canning date

    Anybody know what the numbers on the bottom of Destihl cans mean? I got a Wild Sour Flanders Red with "B143" on the bottom. Is it the same dating system as New Holland meaning this was canned February 14, 2013? The numbers next to the "B143" are "141118", could that be November 18, 2014? That would seem more about right to me.

    Thinking B143 is for batch #143 and the Nov 18 date you mention.

    You are correct. The B143 refers to the batch number, and the 141118 is the date of canning 11/18/14
