Sept 27...anybody know what this has been like in the past? Breweries represented this year/past years? Want to make sure the $35 (or $50 for VIP) is worth it... Thanks
I've heard positive feedback about this fest. Not sure if you've been on their sites, but here are the two I found for them: http://chanswineworld.com/destin-beer-fest/ https://www.facebook.com/TheDestinBeerFestival They haven't announced their full lineup, but so far they have Uinta, Red Brick, Shipyard, Seadog, and Rock Brothers. IIRC, their lineup from last year was pretty decent, but it consisted of breweries / distributors readily available in the Southeast / Northwest FL area with their core beers.
I agree with you on that. Where in FL are you located? Not sure on your situation, but for about the same price, on September 4 and 5, the http://emeraldcoastbeerfest.com/ would be worth it. A ton of homebrew clubs from around the area show up and CCB is bringing '14 Huna which is unheard of in our parts.
I'm in Navarre. '14 Huna would be enough to get me there, but unfortunately have to work those days. Such a great vintage. If any of the Huna Day homebrew clubs will be there too, I'll have to look at a couple days off.
