Detroit Trip

    Gonna be in Detroit this weekend. Looking to snag some Wootstout and possibly some Grimm. Downtown, it looks as though 8 Degree Plato is the only major bottle shop, is this correct? Any recommendations on shops are appreciated.

    I go to 8 degrees Detroit once a week at least. Great staff and as good a beer selection as you will find. They price their beer well and don't gouge. They also have great beer on tap too. I think w00tstout is supposed to drop this week so you should be good.

    Steve's Party Store in Hamtramck. It's about a 5 minute drive from 8 Degrees Plato. Often has the limited release stuff already sold out at Plato.

    Edit: Also, Grimm isn't disto'd in MI, so you'll have no luck with that.

    Not sure that comment on Grimm is true as I have seen them at Holiday Market in Royal Oak recently.

    Must be new then. Certainly don't doubt you. I just hadn't seen it and Grimm's website doesn't list MI yet.

    M4 C.I.C. distributes Grimm in MI, when he has it which is not often. Other stores have gotten it.
