Any Detroiters been to this event in the past? Any insight into which brewers will be present? Looks like Atwater will have a tent, and there's a pic with some bottles of Bell's Best Brown, otherwise nothing very exciting.

Seems like a cool event. Just wondering what to expect in terms of beers?

Wow, never heard of this one. It's only a mile form my house so I may have to check it out. Great find!

Nice. That works for me. Plus, the zoo is a great place and the price isn't bad.

Just to follow up, for those of you in the Detroit area...

The beers were nothing special at all. Lots of stuff being poured from bottles. Best thing I had was the Mayan Mocha Stout from Odd Sides--nice chocolatey stout with a lot of habanero. There really wasn't much here you couldn't get at a decent bottle shop or bar.

BUT, from a purely fun perspective, it was great. It wasn't crowded at all, even though they sold out, and my wife and I were wondering the zoo at dusk and got great views of the polar bears, tigers, and more. Got to do this while drinking a fresh Red's Rye. All in all, it's a fun time for a good cause. We'll go back next year.

I don't know if it's sold out yet, but there is another one on May 29th & September 26th
