Agreed on that. I think that sometimes we get a bit skewed on "value" in the whole picture. For instance.. Evil Twin Imperial Biscotti Break.. I paid like... $15 for this damn thing, or $17 even.. Almost a $1 an ounce.

Is it good? Sure, I'm enjoying it. Is it blow my mind.. Hell no, I've had stouts that tasted similar, for half the price.. I've got one more bottle I've been sitting on, and I'll probably sit on it even longer after drinking this one.

For me, Oscar Blues isn't "value".. Sierra Nevada IS a value beer for me. I feel like I get more for what I pay. DFH on the other hand, love most the beer, but hate all the prices!

I'll admit that I thought I tasted onions, and was verified I wasn't batshit crazy.. But the onion flavor was stronger after having it brought to my attention, so who knows.

The feet, I picked up, and figured I'd kill the tall boys quickly, left one to sit. It was actually better after like 2-3 weeks, but I was so shit faced when I drank it, I couldn't tell you if it had onion flavor or not.

I could only stomach half of a can. Total onion bomb.

Mmm onions. I know I am in the minority here but I love me those oniony hops. I could drink the onion-bomb Gubna all day long.

I have had Ten Fidy that off also and as you mention it didn't have the life it normally has. I will not spend $15 on imperfect Ten Fidy. Deviant has some similar smells and tastes as Gubna. I don't mind some garlic and onion flavors, as long as I get some pine and grapefruit flavors also.

Two sips and I drainpoured the can. Terrible beer.

I've always gotten onion flavors from that beer. One of the reasons I like it so.

I found the onion profile to be overpowering in Gubna. It was not as prevalent in Deviant but distracting nonetheless. I love onions in my food but it does not work for me in beer.

Gubna, Has to be the hops they use. I haven't had a DD, I doubt I will, OB makes quirky stuff you either like it or not. I like Dale's and Gordon's, but they're unusual too.
