I had my first can tonight, and I absolutely loved it. Dale's is one of my favorite beers to begin with, and this was a danker, richer version. I got a really rich and juicy flavor throughout with a great piney hop flavor on the backend. Extremely well balanced and very drinkable.

That being said, I'd be happy to trade a pack of Deviant for a pack of Zombie Dust. (I've never had the latter and would really like to try some.)

I think Deviant is great. Great hops.

I just had a can and it's pretty good but I do get some vegetal aromas and flavors.

Have'nt had deviant dale's, but gubna had a hop flavor that I really did not care for. Not that I would call it shitty, but it'll be a few years before I revisit the beer.

Gubna is bad, But give Deviant a try. It's far from a shitty IPA...

Wow, sorry some of you hate Gubna. When fresh, I've personally found that beer to be euphoric. It's not for everyone, I know. Oh well, more for me!

I didn't hate gubna, just had a hard time drinking it. I will give it another try next time I am in Colorado where I can get some.

gubna scared me away from OB for a while. i'd rather drink the south platte water. deviant is good, but fell short of my expectations with all the hype surrounding it. i think if they dialed up the citrus and dank it would be a phenom. but for the price, i'll grab the four pack of ten fidy right next to it.

making an onion joke about OB is like making a carbonation joke about LA.

also - what does this beer have to do with zombie dust? the two taste absolutely nothing alike and are way different styles.

I had it on hand pump at the Tasty Weasel during my last visit to Colorado. (My brother and sister in law live about 1/2 mile away) My brother in law introduced me to the head brewer and quality control guy, and I told them both that the beer should be released. The said that they had no plans to can it, but I guess that they received enough positive feed back to change their minds. Hopefully, I can find it in New Jersey.

My best experience with the Gubna has been when it was canned within a month or two.

Deviant and zombie dust are two completely different beers IIPA vs APA.

Might have been a bad example to put zombie dust, however i was just trying to make a point that deviant dales is amazing.

New beer hits the market with a pretty wide distribution and someone decides to start a thread about it. How does that make it a hype thread?
