Deviate Brewing (Indy)

Honestly their board on saturday was one of the best boards they've put out. Trailer Breakfast might be my favorite stout that they've made. My wife even loved it, ordered a full pour of it, and she normally hates stouts. It was super smooth and chocolatey....

 

Stopped in last night and had Trailer Breakfast and Juicy Caboosey (which i freaking loved). Such a great tropical aroma and flavor. Also had Honolulu Lei Away since I'm a coffee and coconut fiend (its amazing too). I'm actually glad I don't live close to Deviate, I don't think I'd ever leave.

 

Honolulu Lei Away has blown. New beer to follow will either be an Imperial brown with hazelnuts or a blueberry beer (both yet to be named).
I would agree that Trailer Breakfast is the best beer on the current list. Juicy Violet and Juicy Caboosey are also good.
Bottled RIS probably next month for club members.

 

This x1000. I thought it was more BCBCS when I tasted it, but whatever, it was awesome. Would love to meet up with some of the people on this thread at Deviate sometime. I'm usually in there at least once a week. Popped a Chainsmoker, PN6 and some other stuff last Friday.

 

I am in almost every Friday.....

 

Alright gents, let me see about stopping in tomorrow. Got to clear it through the boss, aka the wife, but if so, let's hoist a few.

 

I live three miles down the road - I'm in for whatever. Let me know if I should bring a bottle or two to crack - I've got RS, GS, ANTEAD Cocoa and some others cold and waiting.

 

I'm interested to try that BA mentioned. I don't live in Indy, but my wife and I drive in frequently. Pickup up a bottle of this (if they bottle it) sounds like a great excuse to plan a day trip!

I've never seen deviate at any of the festivals I have been to. Or Maybe I did and I just missed them. Sun King is always everywhere, and perhaps just overshadowed any signs I saw.

 

The beer mentioned hasn't been released yet. Well known customers are getting a sneak preview, and the bottles will be for club members when it is released. Currently, Deviate only goes to the Indiana beer guilds summer and winterfests.

 

I'll be there tomorrow at 4 dropping off a bunch of bottles to people. Ill be the guy at a table with a couple boxes next to me!

 

I'll be coming in this afternoon (Friday) around 4 as well. I'll be dropping off some Born Yesterday for Greg. I usually just hang at the end of the bar to chat with Mike and Greg.

I kid. Most likely there tomorrow afternoon, as Dad duty calls this evening. Likely a small bottle share around 5ish.

 

Are we going to have a turf war over this?

I can't wait to find out you're someone I've seen or spoken to many times at Deviate.

In town for the holiday. Are there regularly bottles to go? I would like to try their stuff but can't spend much time there since I am here to see family. Do they do crowlers or anything? Cheers and appreciate any insights in advance.
